Reservations: We are happy to help you find the home or condominium you want for your vacation. A deposit of 50% of the total rental price is required to confirm your reservation. The balance of the rental is due 30 days prior to your arrival date, except for certain Holiday Periods, when the final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Unless you make other arrangements prior to the due date of your final payment, we will automatically charge your same credit card for the remaining amount at that time. Payments: Payment in full is due 30 days prior to arrival. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. A reservation Holding Deposit will be charged upon receipt of your contract within 7 to 10 days from your booking date with the remaining balance (full balance less holding deposit) being charged 30 days prior to your arrival date. This Holding Deposit will be applied to your rental fees and your credit card number will be held as a security deposit. Checks made payable to Lake Tahoe Deluxe Vacation Rentals are accepted; please submit your check 7 - 10 days from the booking date to confirm reservation. The check is your advance deposit and is required to reserve the property and becomes the security and damage deposit upon check-in. It is refunded 30 days after your checkout. If there are any damages or problems, you will be notified immediately. The amount of deposit varies according to which property you reserve and is between $300 and $1500. Security Deposit: This deposit is held in the event of damage, theft, excessive cleaning or other expenses incurred due to guest negligence. For this purpose, we charge the amount of the security deposit on your credit card. This will be refunded about 21 days after your departure, unless we notify you of a damage problem. We do not recommend using debit cards for the security deposit because releasing the hold is a lengthy process that ties up your funds. If cost of replacement or repairs exceeds the tenant’s credit limit, Guest agrees to pay the difference to LTDVR. In the event of a dispute concerning a security deposit, arguments to be heard in the jurisdiction where the property exists.***For last minute bookings or reservations made within 30 days of reservation a credit card and full payment are required***
