Vacation Rental Policies
Rental Terms & Conditions:
Lake Tahoe Deluxe Vacation Rentals reserves the right to cancel or reassign units in the event of program changes or unavailability or circumstances beyond our control. Unit prices, availability and specific accommodations are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your confirmed reservation prior to 30 days (60 days for holidays) from your scheduled arrival date, your holding deposit is subject to forfeiture if we do not re-rent the property for the same dates and rate.
If you cancel your confirmed reservation less than 30 days (60 days for holidays) from your scheduled arrival date, the full payment is subject to forfeiture if we do not re-rent the property for the same dates and rate. If we do re-rent the property, your money will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee.
Security Deposits: This deposit is held in the event of damage, theft, excessive cleaning or other expenses incurred due to guest negligence. For this purpose, we charge amount of the security deposit on your credit card. This will be refunded within 21 days after your departure, unless we notify you of a damage problem. We do not recommend using debit cards for the security deposit because releasing the hold is a lengthy process that ties up your funds. If cost of replacement or repairs exceeds the tenant’s credit limit, Guest agrees to pay the difference to LTDVR. In the event of a dispute concerning a security deposit, arguments to be heard in the jurisdiction where the property exists.

Maximum Occupancy: Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, you will be asked to vacate the property and forfeit any rental payment or rent additional accommodations.
Rental Payment: Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Booked stay will be billed to your credit card at the time of your online booking. The balance must be mailed, or a credit card called into Lake Tahoe Deluxe Vacation Rentals prior to 60 days of your arrival. Payment may be made by: cash, personal check or credit card (we accept VISA, Master Card).
Cleaning Fee: All units have a non-refundable cleaning fee.
Non-Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all homes.
Pet Policies: Please use the furniture and furnishings as if they were your own. If your pet has a personal bed (or if a family member has a preferred pillow) they are welcome to bring it along. No matter what the occasion or location, it's always a good idea to include the whole family, furry ones, too. Please don't leave your pets or little ones home alone. If you need a sitter or medical assistance, call our Concierge staff for personal recommendations.
Pets are welcome in a number of homes and only with prior approval. The presence of a pet in a home without approval will result in the forfeiture of deposits and eviction from the home.
Miscellaneous: The guest of record must be 21 years of age or older. No rentals will be made to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25. Any reservation made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment of rent and deposit, and the guests will not be permitted to check-in.
We reserve the right to substitute your vacation rental unit.
A minimum stay may be required and may vary according to the season and the home.
Rates are subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply.
Amenities & Appliances (Such as Hot Tub, Washer/Dryer, TV/DVD, etc) are subject to down time for repair or maintenance.
Check in time begins at 4:30 P.M, should your home be ready before that time we will gladly give you an earlier check in time. Properties are not guaranteed to be ready at 4:30 P.M.
Check out time is 11:00 A.M. Unauthorized use of a property after 11:00 A.M. may result in a charge of $75.00 per hour.
By using our website or any other services you will be creating a binding agreement to rent the designated accommodations and are subject to the "Terms and Conditions" of this agreement.
Any exceptions to the Terms and Conditions must be approved in advance by management, in writing.
By providing your credit card number on this website, you agree to the above stated policies.
You also agree that you are the legal cardholder authorized to use this credit card number.
A reservation is not considered "Confirmed" until our office has contacted you, information is verified and you receive a Confirmation Number.
